Andorra 2 Euro 2016 25 years Radio and TV Coloured

Radio and Television have only a short history in Andorra. At the end of 1989, the Andorran RTVA û Radio i Televisio d'Andorra was founded. The RTVA is a public broadcaster, and in Andorra there are no commercial channels. The first radio broadcasts were in 1990/1991 and the first television broadcasts were in 1995. Radio broadcasters have been allowed to broadcast for a long time, their callsign starts with C31. In 2016 it was 25 years since the first public signals were broadcast from Andorra. To commemorate this Andorra has issued a special 2 Euro coin. On the front of the coin a coloured microphone and a satellite dish are depicted. Above is the year 2016 and the country name of Andorra. In a circle is the text 25è Aniversari The Radio I Televisio d'Andorra. The text and the years are coloured in accordance with the national colours of Andorra.
