This tenth, and last, coin from this series has as a theme Austria as a whole. The previous nine coins had an Austrian Bundesland (province) as a theme. This tenth coin was designed by a class of the Volksschool from Kapfenberg. On the face of the coin, in a circle, are a number of happy, beautiful childhood characters who hold each otherÆs hand. In the centre of the coin there is a map of Austria with a heart in it. The theme of the coin is a summary of Austria as a landscape and culture. On the reverse there are five typical Austrian motifs, the Grossglockner, Emperor Franz Josef I, a young Mozart behind the piano and a skier. Furthermore, the name of the Republic of Austria and the value of 10 Euro together with the year 2016 are shown.
