Austria 10 Euro 2016 Upper Austria Cupper

The ninth coin from the series of Provinces of Austria has the theme of Upper Austria which is located in the north of Austria. Traditionally, the face of the coin was signed by a student. In this case the winner is Klara Baumgartner. Klara's favourite place is the Pöstling mountain which is depicted on the face of the coin along with the Linzer Church. The Traunstein and three Glöcker of the Salzkammergut are also shown. In the centre of the coin is the Coat of Arms of Upper Austria. It took Klara 8 hours of work to complete her black and white drawing, the Coat of Arms, though is in colour. KlaraÆs surname is also the name of Austria's best beer û Baumgartner Bier. On the reverse of the coin is an image of the Unescostad Hallstadt with an impressive mountain in the background. In addition the value of 10 Euro and the country name Republik Oesterreich is shown.
