Belgium 2 Euro 2016 Child Focus Coincard
The Royal Mint of Belgium has issued a special 2 Euro coin in cooperation with Child Focus. This is due to the International Day of Missed Children, which takes place on 25 May each year. Child Focus is a foundation dedicated to missing and sexually-exploited children. On the coin Liam Vanden Branden depicted. Liam disappeared in 1996 as a of 2.5 year old toddler and was never found. At the top of the coin is Belgium's country name in its three official languages, (French, Dutch and German) along with the year 2016. At the bottom of the coin is the text æMissing û Disparu û MissedÆ along with the æChild FocusÆ Website . The coin is packed in a coincard which is made in the form of a triptych. For the first time the coin is packaged in strong roughened paper.
