Product Description

Filip has been King of Belgium since 21 July 2013. From 2014 the first Euro coins were struck with an image of King Filip on the coins. In 2015, for the first time, 5 cent coins with the image of King Filip were struck. On the coin King Filip is portrayed looking to the right. On the left side of the coin is the Royal Monogram with the letters FP. Below this is the country code of Belgium æBEÆ. On the outer ring of the coin are the 12 stars of Europe, and at the bottom is the year 2015. To the left of the year is the mint-master's mark. This is a kitten which is the mint mark of Mint-Master Mr Bernard Gillard, director of the K.M.B. The kitten has been the Belgian Mint-Master mint mark since 2012. To the right of the year is the mint mark of the Royal Mint of Belgium which is the head of Archangel Saint Michael, the patron saint of Brussels. The quality of the coin is UNC (Uncirculated).
