In this gigantic church is the monumental tomb of Emperor Frederik III. This tomb was completed in the year 1517, at which time Frederik III had been dead for 20 years! The tomb is made of red marble and features late Gothic sculptures made by the Dutchman Nikolaas van Leyden.
