Product Description

This 2017 Finnish 20 Euro coin has the subject æFor MamaÆ. The coin was designed by the six-year-old Aleksei Kulagin. Never before has a coin struck that was designed by a child of six years or younger!! Aleksei made a drawing that he called: Mommy brought me a balloon. A balloon belongs to party celebrations, happiness and joy. Aleksei made a drawing of his mother, who brought him a balloon, with the balloon in the shape of a heart. This coin is part of the celebration of Finland's 100th anniversary, which aims to indicate the central position of the mothers in Finland. On the face of the coin is an image of the heart drawn by Aleksei. On the left side of the coin you will see the country name Suomi (Finnish) and Finland (Swedish), the value of 20 Euro and the year 2017. On the reverse of the coin is Aleksei KulaginÆs drawing. The coin is presenteded in a luxury package where the word Ädille (meaning æFor MamaÆ) is seen with Aleksei's drawing. The design of this 20 Euro coin is the same as the 10 euro coin. The size and weight of the coin of 20 Euro coin are clearly larger than the 10 Euro coin. The coin is presented in a luxury package that also differs from the 10 euro coin package. Central is the word Äidit ( meaning Mothers). The issue of this coin is limited to only 5,000 copies!
