Austria 5 Euro 2018 Lion Power Cupper

Austria has been issuing a special 5 Euro New Year's coin for several years. The theme of the New Year's Coin 2018 is Löwenkraft (lion power). At the end of the year one not only looks forward to the future, but also looks back to the past. In this case, people even look back in the past 650 years. In the year 1368, John of Troppau wrote his famous book of the four Evangelists. This book is the oldest book that can be found in the National Library of Vienna. It is written entirely in golden letters. This book is of great value to Austria and on this book one sees a Lion. This mischievously smiling Lion is also depicted on the face of this special 2018 Austrian copper 5 Euro coin. Around the head of the lion is his mane cryptically displayed. At the bottom of the coin is the year 2018. The reverse of these nine-sided Austrian coins is always the same. In the middle is the value indication of 5 Euro and in each segment of the coin are the coats of arms of the nine Austrian provinces.
