France 10 Euro 2018 End of First World War

In the year 2018 it is 100 years since the First World War came to an end. In commemoration of this, France has issued a special silver 10 Euro coin. On the face of this coin a bugler blowing the ceasefire is depicted. In the background is the Arc de Triomphe berlow which is a soldier with a child in his arms. Furthermore, the typical symbols of the First World War, the poppy and the cornflower, are shown at the bottom of the coin. The letters RF, the abbreviation of the Republic of France together with a vertically printed year 2018 are printed. The text æCentenaire de l'Armistice de 1918Æ (100th anniversary Armistice 1918) is shown in an arc on the left side of the coin. On the reverse of the coin the value indication of 10 Euro is shown in the centre with an oak branch and a laurel branch below. Together with the value indication these branches form the Euro symbol. Furthermore, there are several lines forming a number of hexagonal shapes that roughly indicate the contours of the country of France. The coin is presented in a luxurious package.
