Austria 3 Euro 2017 Tiger

This is the second coin from the series of coins that have theme of the Night of Animals. The unique factor of these coins is that they glow in the dark! The series consists of 12 coins, of which four will be issued in 2017. This second coin has the theme of the Tiger. The tiger, one of the kings of the jungle, actually has no natural enemies. Yet they were almost made extinct by man. The tiger is an excellent hunter both during the day and at night. On the coin is a young tiger in the jungle. There is also a Python coiled around a branch. The reverse side of this series of 12 coins is the same û the 12 animals of this series are seen in the centre of the coin along with some natural elements. These are encircled by the country name Republik Österreich. Centred at the bottom of the coin is the number 3 being the value of the coin along with the word Euro.
