Cyprus BU 2018

This is the fourth set of the series of BU sets from Cyprus which have the theme Religious Monuments in Cyprus. In the 2018 BU set of Cyprus three churches are central. These are the "Archangelos Michail" church in Pedoulas, the "Panagia tis Podithou" in Galata and the "Transfiguration of the Redeemer" in Palaichori. These churches were built in the 15th and 16th centuries. They have special paintings from the Byzantine period. These churches are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the 2018 Cypriot BU set the complete series of 2018 Euro coins from Cyprus is packaged. The 2 Euro coin is the normal 2 Euro of Cyprus 2018. Cyprus will not issue a special 2 Euro coin in 2018. The edition of this beautiful set is only 5,000 copies.
