Finland 10 Euro 2017 Golden Age

This 2017 Finnish 10 Euro coin has the theme æThe Golden AgeÆ. This coin is part of the program of Finland's 100th anniversary and is also part of the Euro coins series. This series of coins has as its subject the era of glass and iron, lasting from the late 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. The subject has been chosen for the Paris World Exhibition in the year 1900. The Finnish pavilion was designed by the architects Saarinen, Geselius and Lindgren, and famous artists from that time such as Akseli Gallen-Kallela exhibited their works there. The special feature of the pavilion was then the carpeting on the walls, which is depicted on the front of the coin. On the reverse of the coin you will see a large, and a small, Europa star. Centred on the coin is the crest of Finland. On the face you the value of 10 Euro is shown and on the reverse is the year 2017. The coin is presented in a luxury packaging that is made only of Finnish raw materials.
