Product Description

Finland presents a series of nine special bimetal 5 Euro coins that have as their theme the National Landscapes. The theme of this fourth coin from this series is the National Park æPallastunturiÆ. This park is located in the north of Finland, in the west of Lapland with the countries Norway, Sweden and Russia close by. It is one of the largest, and one of the oldest, National Parks of Finland. The park has been inhabited since the Stone Age and the first inhabitants of this area were the Sami. The main source of life was, and is, reindeer and fish. On the face of the coin is an image of the plateau of the Pallastunturi Park. Blurred is the highest peak of the Taivaskero Fell park which is 809 metres high. The reverse of this series of coins is the same. The map of Finland is shown upon which is a dot to indicate where this National Park in Finland can be found. To the left of the map of Finland the value indication of 5 Euro is shown. In the outer ring of the coin is the year 2018 and the country name Suomi (Finnish) and Finland (Swedish). The quality of this beautiful bimetal coin is UNC and is delivered in a printed coin holder.
