France 2 Euro 2018 Coincard Cornflower

France has issued a beautiful Coincard to commemorate that the First World War ended 100 years ago. In this Coincard the coloured version of the special 2 Euro 2018 æCornflowerÆ is mounted. This coin is coloured according to the colours of a Cornflower û the outer part of the flower is light blue while the inner portion is dark blue. In the background are the contours of the French Flag. The French flag is also called the æDrapeau TricoloreÆ (Tricolour Flag). The French flag is made up of the colours blue, white and red. These are shown vertically. The background of this particular French coin is accented with horizontal stripes at the blue part of the flag and vertical stripes at the red portion of the flag. Encircling the cornflower is the text æLe Bleuet de France, Fleur de Mémoire et de SolidaritéÆ (The Cornflower of France, flower of Memory and Solidarity). At the bottom of the coin are the years 1918 and 2018. The coloured coin is mounted in a square Coincard. Each Coincard is provided with a unique number. The edition of this Coincard is only 10,000 copies.
