Product Description
On every German 2 Euro coin we see an image of a black eagle. In Germany, this Eagle is called the Bundesadler (Federal Eagle). The Federal Eagle is the traditional symbol of German sovereignty. The Eagle is also seen on the official flag of Germany. On the coin the Federal Eagler is seen looking aside. The eagle has its the wings open with the feathers closed. The coin is struck in Karlsruhe which is indicated by the letter ôGö located at the bottom of the coin to the right of the year 2016. In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 stars of the European Union. The text around the edge of the coin is ôEinigkeit und Recht und Freiheitö (Unity and Rights and Freedom).
