Netherlands BU 2017 Day of the Mintset

In 1992 the Day of the Mint was organized for the first time. Over the years this event has become the largest coin event in the Netherlands. In 2017 the Day of the Mint was organized on June 10th for the 25th time. We as Eurocoinhouse were there, with our team, as a stand holder where visitors could see that we really have everything available in euro coins, from single loose coins to exclusive Euro coins. Since 2002, when the Euro was introduced, a special BU set will be issued, the so-called "Day of the Mint" set. The edition of this set is the same as the year, the edition of the coin set from 2002 is of year 2002 coins and the edition of the 2017 set is, of course, year 2017 copies. Each set has a unique number. This exclusive set is always sold out in no time. The theme of the 2017 coin set is 25 Years of the æDay of the MintÆ. In this special set the complete series of euro coins from the Netherlands 2017 is packed. Additionally there is a special coin packed on which you can see the Monumental build ing of the Royal Mint where hundreds of people are queueing to visit the Day of the Mint. The layout of the set gives a description of the Day of the Mint, and there are various pictures / impressions, as well as the famous Muntmeester (Master of the Mint) Maarten Brouwer.
