Netherlands BU 2018 Day of the Mint set

In the year 1992 the "Day of the Mint" was organized for the first time. This special day is held every year in the Monumental historic building of the Royal Dutch Mint. This beautiful building was built more than 100 years ago and since then the Dutch Euro coins have been minted here. Because the KNM (Dutch Mint) will move its activities to another location, the last "Day of the Mint" was organized on 9 June 2018. We, from your "Eurocoinhouse", were there with our team. On the occasion of this last Day of the Mint there is a special coin set issued - the 2018 Day of the Mint Set. The theme of this set is the Last Day of the Mint 2018. In this set the complete series of 2018 Dutch euro Coins is packaged. As an extra a special medal is packed in this set. On the face of this medal the entrance of the Mint building is depicted, whilst on the reverse of the medal a plan of the mint building is shown together with its longitude and latitude. For the specialists and experts this is JO22NC. The edition of this beautiful set is equal to the year û 2018 copies and each set is provided with a unique number.
