Ireland BU 2018

This is the BU set of Ireland 2018. The first BU set of Ireland was issued in 1928! From the year 2018 Ireland has started a completely new subject of its BU sets. The theme of the BU set of Ireland 2018 is Irish myths and legends. Well-known Irish legends are the "Children of Lir", the "Deirdre of Sin" and the best-known mythical hero of Ireland "Cu Chulainn". In the BU set of Ireland 2018 silhouette images of these Irish legends are portrayed. Furthermore, a brief summary of the Deirdre legend is shown. In the BU set from Ireland 2018 the complete series of Euro coins from Ireland 2018 is packaged. This is the 2018 Irish 1 cent up to, and including, the normal 2018 Irish 2 Euro. From the year 2002 Ireland has also minted loose coins. These were available in UNC sets and in Coin fair sets. From the year 2018 it has been decided not to issue separate series anymore. The edition of this BU set is only 6000 copies, this means that worldwide there are only 6,000 collectors who can complete their series!
