Lituania 2 Euro 2017 Vilnius Coincard

Vilnius is the theme of this special 2017 Lithuanian 2 Euro coin. Lithuania has issued this coin to show the rest of Europe its unique identity. It is the third coin of this series. The first (2015) was the Lithuanian language and the second (2016) was Lithuanian culture. On the face of the coin you a panorama of famous Vilnius churches is depicted. The bell tower of the Sint Jans church, the tower of the Francis church and the Bernard Church are pictured. In the background are a number of orthodox churches. Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is a modern, dynamic, growing and flourishing city. The representation of the churches on this special 2 Euro coin makes a link to the past. The coin is packaged in a dark green coincard. This coincard is enclosed in a matching cover. On the coincard the various churches of Vilnius are creatively displayed in a spiral. On the reverse of the coincard additional information about the coincard and the coin is printed.
