Luxemburg 2 Euro 2018 150 years Constitution Coloured

This is the coloured special 2 Euro of Luxembourg of 2018 "150 Year Constitution". About 150 years ago it was a turbulent time in Europe. The Dutch parliament came into conflict with King William III and there was a discussion about Dutch Limburg and Luxembourg. The Luxembourg constitution of 1868 was adopted on 17 October 1868 and Limburg became a definitive part of the Netherlands. From that time is still a fact that a Commissioner of the King in Limburg is a Governor. The Grand Duke of Luxembourg had a lot of power in accordance with this constitution. He could appoint, or sack, the parliament, adopt and refuse laws. This resulted in 2008 in a special situation regarding the Euthanasia arrangement in Luxembourg. To commemorate that, in 2018, the Luxembourg Constitution is exactly 150 years old, Luxembourg has issued a special 2 Euro coin. On the face of the coin, Grand Duke Henri is portrayed looking diagonally to the right. His face and clothes are perfectly coloured. Furthermore, the years 1868 and 2018, along with the text "150 Ans Constitution Du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg" (150 years of the Constitution of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) are shown. The years and the text are coloured in the National colours of Luxembourg being Red, White and Light Blue. The Yellow colour comes from the Luxembourg Lion. Furthermore, the cross-section of an opened book is depicted. It is noteworthy that the mint mark has been changed with effect from the year 2018; the yellow-coloured lion of Luxembourg is shown to the left of the year 2018.
