Malta 10 Euro 2017 Argotti Botanic Garden

Within the framework of the European Star program Malta has issued a special 10 euro coin. The era concerns iron and glass and the old building of the botanical gardens of Argotti has been chosen. These gardens are hundreds of years old and can be visited every day. The gardens are owned by the University and the Ministry of Agriculture of Malta. At the edge of the Botanical Garden of Argotti there is a water tower where the inhabitants of Valletta could tap water. On the face of the coin old greenhouses of the Botanical Gardens are depicted. They are made of iron and glass. The text Argotti Botanical Gardens Conservatory and the value of 10 Euro are also shown. On the back of the coin there is a big European Star with the text Iron & Glass 19th Century. Centred on the coin is the Coat of Arms of Malta. At the bottom of the coin is the year 2017, and a small European star. The coin is packaged in a luxury package and is supplied with a certificate
