Malta 2 Euro 2017 Peace with Mintmark

This is the second coin of the series of five coins that have the subject "By Children in Solidarity". The theme of this special 2017 Maltese 2 Euro coin is "Solidarity through Peace". This series of coins is based on a children's drawing and the winner of the drawing for the 2017 coin was Katya Muscat, born in 2005, who lives on the island of Gozo. The winning drawing used for the coin shows two young children holding the flag of Malta together. The Dove of Peace flies above the children. On the right side of the coin vertically is the year 2017 while at the bottom of the coin is the country name Malta. It is a beautiful coin with a deep meaning. There are many collectors who claim "I collect coins and not packaging". Especially for these collectors we have in our program the special 2 Euro coin Malta 2017 "Peace" with mintmark, mounted in a coin holder. The image above shows where this mint mark can be found. It is the æCornucopiaÆ (Horn of Plenty). This mint mark denotes that this coin was minted in France ! We package the coin in a Leuchtturm coin holder which is printed by us. Only 30,000 coins have been struck with this mint mark!
