San Marino 2 Euro 2017 Coincard

We have a unique 2017 Coincard from San Marino available from stock. On the front of the Coincard you can see the colours and the coat of arms of San Marino. On the back of the Coincard you can see the technical description of the Coincard and the 2 Euro coin. The famous mountain, Monte Titano is beautifully displayed with this special Coincard. As of the year 2017 San Marino has changed the motif of its Euro coins. From the year 2002 up to and including 2016, the Palazzo Publico was depicted on the normal 2 Euro coins of San Marino. Each Euroland may change the motif of its Euro coins after 15 years and San Marino is the first to use it. From 2017 the normal 2 Euro coins have a completely different image. On the normal 2 Euro coins a detail of the painting Madonna in Gloria is depicted. This painting was painted around the year 1640 by Giovan Battista Urbinelli, also called Urbinelli of Urbino. The painting hangs in the National Museum of San Marino. On the coin is a detail of the painting where Saint Marino is depicted holding, protectively, the three Towers of San Marino in his hands. On the top right is the country name San Marino and on the right the year 2017 is shown. In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 stars of Europe. Naturally this coin is legal tender. Each Coincard has a unique number and the edition of this special Coincard is only 1,000 copies!
