San Marino 2 Euro 2017 Coincard 2 Euro Coloured

The famous mountain, Monte Titano, is beautifully pictured on this special Coincard. As of the year 2017 San Marino has changed the motif of its Euro coins. From the year 2002 up to and including 2016, the Palazzo Publico was depicted on the normal 2 Euro coins of San Marino. Each Euroland may change the motif of its Euro coins after 15 years and San Marino was the first to do it. From the year 2017 the normal 2 Euro coins have a completely different image. On the normal 2 Euro coins a detail of the painting Madonna in Gloria is depicted. This painting was painted around the year 1640 by Giovan Battista Urbinelli also called Urbinelli of Urbino. The painting hangs in the National Museum of San Marino. On this coloured 2 Euro coin is a detail of the painting where one sees Saint Marino who, as it were, protects San Marino (the three towers) in his hands. At the top right, the country name San Marino is coloured white and the year 2017 is coloured blue. These colours conform to the National colours of San Marino being white and blue.
