Slovakia BU 2017 Caves Slovak Karst

In the Slovak series of BU sets with the theme Unesco World Heritage, the 2017 set has the theme of the æCaves of the Slovak and the Aggtelek KarstÆ. These caves are located in the border area of Slovakia and Hungary. In total, more than 700 caves are known! Of these 7 caves are to be found on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The caves have been through the karst system for millions of years, i.e. limestone dissolved by water. These unique caves are the largest of its kind in central Europe. This beautiful BU set contains the complete series of Euro coins from Slovakia, supplemented with a special medal. Various coins of Slovakia 2017 will not come into circulation. The caves of the Slovak and the Aggtelek Karst are further described in this set, complemented by beautiful images.
