Slovenia 2 Euro 2015 Coloured

Slovenia has issued this special 2 Euro coin to commemorate the construction of Emona. Emona (in Latin Aemona) was built as a Roman settlement around the beginning of the era. It was the most Eastern Roman settlement. The current Slovenian capital, Ljulbjana, is built on the site of Emona. The settlement was rectangular with a size of approximately 400 x 500 metres and was built of bricks. In the city of Ljubljana, in some places, the remains of this Roman settlement Emona are still visible. On the coin the word Aemona / Emona is printed cryptically. The letters are coloured with different colours. A stylized city wall is also seen on the coin. These Bricks are perfectly coloured on this special coin. At the bottom of the coin is the text "Emona Ljubljana Slovenija 2015". The quality of the coin is UNC (Uncirculated).
