Spain BU 2016

The 2016 Spanish BU set has the theme Miguel de Cervantes. "Don Quixote" is the most important piece of work that was written by this famous Spanish author. The book of Don Quixote of La Mancha is, after the Bible, the most translated book in the world! It has been 400 years since Miguel de Cervantes died. To commemorate this the 2016 Spanish BU set has the theme of Miguel de Cervantes. On the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins from Spain an image of Miguel de Cervantes is depicted. This image is actually debatable because no official portrait of him is known to exist! In this BU set nine coins are packed. This comprises the complete set of Euro coins of Spain 2016 (1 cent to the normal 2 Euro). As an extra coin the special 2016 Spanish 2 Euro coin "Segovia" is packaged in this beautiful set.
