Cyprus BU 2012

This is the BU set of Cyprus 2012. This set is the third set in the series of the Cyprus euro coin sets dedicated to the mosaics of Paphos which are included in UNESCO's World Heritage list. In the BU set of Cyprus 2012 you can find all Eurocoins from Cyprus 2012 which are the 1 cent 2012 till the normal 2 Euro Coin Cyprus 2012. The Mosaics of Paphos decorated the floors of the houses of wealthy residents in the Roman period in Cyprus (58 BC - 330 AD). They depict themes mainly from Greek mythology. The figures most prominently depicted on the mosaic floors have given their names to the house remains House of Dionysos, House of Aion, Villa of Theseus and the House of Orpheus. On this set you see the mosaics from the House of Orpheus.
