Cyprus UNC 2015
This is the complete set of 2015 Cypriot Euro coins. On the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins is an image of a Cypriot moeflon, which is a species of wild sheep threatened with extinction. On the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins is a picture of the ship of Kyrenia. This ship was an original freight ship used 6,000 years ago! It is found in Kyrenia which is currently part of Turkish Cyprus. On the 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins is an image of the Idol of Pomos. This is a figurine that is about 5,000 years old which symbolizes fertility. These statues can be from a few centimetres to a metre in size! On all coins of Cyprus, the country name Cyprus is shown in two languages, i.e. Turkish and Greek. Naturally on each coin the year 2015 is shown.
