Finland 10 Euro 2016 Arvar Aalto

In the year 2016 it was 50 years since the famous Finnish architect and designer Arvar Aalto passed away. That is why Finland has issued a special 10 euro coin. Arvar Aalto was the inventor of utensils that everyone knows when they are seen, these are e.g. the Savoy Vase or the stackable stools. He also designed and signed the æFinlandia HallÆ in Helsinki and the æPaimo SanatoriumÆ. Arvar Aalto was known as a pioneer of modern architecture. Within the Europa Star program this coin is a wonderful addition. On the face of the coin is an image of Arvar Aalto with a Savoy Vase on his head. Furthermore, the text æArvar AaltoÆ his birth year (1898) and year of his death (1976) are displayed, along with the value of 10 Euro. In the middle of the reverse of the coin is the Finnish Lion. The large and small stars of the Europa Star Program are also depicted. The country name Suomi Finland, as well as the year 2016 are shown. The coin is presented in a luxury package.
