Product Description
In the framework of the celebration of 100 Year Finland, Finland has issued a beautiful silver 10 Euro coin. A photo contest was organized and the winning photo was taken by nature photographer Kari Auvinen. He took the winning picture on Harmaja Island û it is a crow on a branch with the full moon in the background. The crow symbolizes the modern Finnish character: an extremely common and intelligent bird that responds flexibly to different situations. The face of the coin depicts a full moon in front of which is a crow on a branch. Furthermore, the text "Suomalainen Luonto" (Finnish) and æDen Finska NaturenÆ (Swedish), meaning æFinnish NatureÆ. The back of the coin is lightly textured and is intended to simulate the moon. In addition, horizontally across the centre of the coin is the text "2017 Suomi Finland 10 Euro" (Suomi is Finnish, Finland is Swedish û the two national languages of Finland). The coin is presented in a beautiful packaging which is produced entirely in Finland using only Finnish materials .
