Greece 10 Euro 2016 Demokritos

This is the first coin from Greece in 2016. This coin is the next coin from the series of Greek coins with the theme of Culture. The theme of this coin is Demokritos (450 BC - 370 BC). Demokritos had a declaration for the northern as well as the southern hemisphere of the Earth and is considered to be the thinker of atomic theory. His proposition was simple: grab a piece of cheese, cut it through the middle, do this again until you canÆt continue anymore, then you have an atom! On the face of the coin is an image of Demokritos with an atom. Also, on the front of the coin is the year 2016. At the bottom of the coin is the name Demokritos in Greek with the years 460-370 BC. On the reverse of the coin is the Greek text æGreece DemocracyÆ, along with the value of 10 Euro. The coin is presented in a luxury package and is supplied with a numbered certificate.
