Portugal 2,5 Euro 2015 Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro

In 2016 the Olympic Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Portugal, of course, will participate in these Olympic Games and has issued a special 2.5 Euro coin in 2015 in commemoration of this fact. On both the front and the back of the coin the five Olympic rings are depicted in an artistic manner. This was conceived by the artist Joana Vasconselos whose name is shown at the top of the reverse of the coin. The currency denomination is central on the face of the coin. At the bottom of the coin is the Portuguese Coat of Arms and the year 2015. On the reverse of the coin the Olympic rings and the text æEquipa Olimpica de Portugal 2015Æ is printed. The quality of the coin is UNC and the issue of this coin is 150,000 copies.
