Slovakia BU 2016 Levoca and Castle Spissky

In the series of BU sets with the subject of the Slovak Unesco World Heritage the 2016 set has the theme of Levoca, the Spisský castle and its associated cultural monuments. This is the fourth set of the series. In 1993 Spisský Castle was added to the World Heritage List and in 2009, the city of Levoca was also added to the list. The Spisský Castle is a ruin and is one of the largest castle formations of Eastern Europe. Levoca, located near the Spisský castle, has had a great significance for hundreds of years in this region, which is now in the east of Slovakia. For hundreds of years, it was a multicultural city where several languages were spoken. The 2016 BU set of Slovakia "Levoca and Spisský Castle" contains the complete series of 2016 Slovakian Euro coins as well as a special coin.
