Cyprus 2 Euro 2020 Institute of Neurology and Genetics

Cyprus has issued a 2 Euro coin in 2020 with the theme 'Institute of Neurology and Genetics'. This 2020 Cypriot 2 Euro coin will not be issued until 2021. Both Genetics and Neurology are particularly complex specialties that require years of study. Neurology is concerned with the treatment of people who have spinal cord, nerve and brain disorders, a very complex area that is still unclear. Genetics is concerned with heredity and the genes of humans. The Institute of Neurology and Genetics in Cyprus has been in existence for 30 years, which is why Cyprus has decided to issue this special 2 Euro coin. On the face of the coin several neurons and synapses are depicted. Furthermore, the texts 'Institute of Neurology and Genetics' and 'Cyprus 1990 - 2020' are displayed in the Cypriot language. The coin is packaged in a printed coin holder.
