This 2015 Vatican special 5 Euro coin was issued in connection with the 48th World Peace Day that took place on September 21, 2015. The theme of this coin is æNo More Slaves but Brothers and SistersÆ. This statement was made by Pope Franciscus. Many people think that slavery in the world no longer exists. Nothing is less true as there are still many forms of slavery in which some people, or groups, are exploited. This so that other, shameless, people can gain a lot of money. Pope Franciscus decries this slavery and states that if slavery ceases to exist then everybody are brothers and sisters, then there would be peace on earth. On the face of the coin are two men embracing. One of the men has chain attached to his ankle, the chain has just been broken. On top of the coin is the country name Citta Del Vaticano. On the right side of the coin is the value of 5 Euro. On the reverse of the coin Pope Franciscus is portrayed with the text æFranciscus PP Anno III û MMXVÆ (= 2015) in the margin of the coin. The quali ty of the coin is Silver Proof and is supplied with a certificate. The coin is presented in a luxury package. The issue of this coin is only 6,999 copies.
