Austria 1,5 Euro 2019 Wiener Philarmoniker

The "Wiener Philharmoniker" (Vienna Philharmonic) is an Austrian Symphony Orchestra which was founded in 1842. It is one of the most famous orchestras in Austria. The Wiener Philharmoniker has for years given its name to a special Austrian Euro coin, the 1.5 euro "Wiener Philharmoniker". This special coin has the weight of a Troy Ounce. A Troy Ounce is 31.07 grams and is a popular unit of weight in precious metals. On the face of the coin a number of instruments played by the members of the Vienna Philharmonic, such as some violins, a bass, a harp, a horn and a clarinet are depicted.
