Austria 25 Euro 2019 Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is the theme of this 25 Euro coin from Austria. Nowadays computers, tablets and smart-phones are indispensable in society, but what does the future hold? What will happen if these computers develop and invent themselves? What will the world look like then û will it be a world full of robots? These are questions that many scholars are concerned with right now, but that also frighten many people. There are robots that are currently doubling their 'learning capacity' within three months, what are the consequences? It is the boundary between science and fiction that we find ourselves in. What if artificial intelligence is no longer dependent on people and becomes smart enough to improve itself? Will we become the playthings of our own inventions, or will we always remain in control of the computers. It is not known what the future holds but Austria has decided to bring this to attention by issuing a Silver Niobium coin. The face of the coin shows the head of a humanoid robot and a processor with the conductors running through the silver ring. The value indication of 25 EURO, REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH and the year 2019 are shown around the outside of the coin. On the reverse of the coin there are various symbols in the Silver ring that refer back to this artificial intelligence. Furthermore, a silhouette of a head is represented where data, in binary form, is fed into the head. This coin indicates that people do not know how this super intelligent robot will actually work. The text 'KÜNSTLICHE INTELLIGENZ' (artificial intelligence) is also shown. The coin is presented in a luxury package and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
