Product Description
The Argentinosaurus is a herbivorous dinosaur that lived on Earth about 95 million years ago. The Argentinosaurus was a giant dinosaur with a body length of more than 35 metres and a weight well over 80,000 kilograms. The Argentinosaurus was so immense that it had almost no natural enemies. To stay alive the Argentinosaurus ate about 500 pounds of plants, leaves and grass per day! Due to its enormous weight the Argentinosaurus was not very mobile and was therefore very slow. The face of the coin shows an Argentinosaurus, while in the background, a second Argentinosaurus is depicted enjoying the foliage of a tree, two Pterosaurs in flight are also shown. The name 'Argentinosaurus' and the year of issue, 2021, are also displayed. The reverse of this series of coins is always the same, i.e. an image of the dinosaurs featured in this series. Furthermore, the country name Republik Österreich (Republic of Austria) and the value indication of 3 Euro are shown encircling these images. The coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
