Austria 3 Euro 2021 Therizinosaurus

Austria has issued the sixth 3 Euro coin with the theme 'dinosaurs'. The subject of this 3 Euro coin from Austria 2021 is the 'Therizinosaurus'. The Therizinosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that could reach 30 feet in length and weigh over 5,000 kilos! The Therizinosaurus had claws of up to three feet long which allowed a good defence against possible attacks. The Therizinosaurus was too heavy to climb a tree but, with a height of over 20 feet, it could reach enough branches. On the face of the coin a Therizinosaurus is depicted protecting its eggs. Furthermore, the year of issue, 2021, is shown. The reverse side of this series of coins is always the same, i.e. an image of the dinosaurs pictured in the series. Additionally, the country name Republik Österreich (Republic of Austria) and the value indication of 3 Euro are shown encircling these images. The coin is packaged in a printed coin holder.
