Austria 5 Euro 2019 Joy of Life Cupper

This special 2019 Austrian 5 Euro coin has the theme "Joy of Life". Imagine a State Opera about 150 years ago around the new year. The visitors have more pleasure and joy from moment to moment and enjoy the music. The idea is that one wishes, in the new year, to walk just as a ballet-dancer - light-footed through the year. The face of the coin is inspired by a painting by Dobiaschofky called æBalletÆ. A dancer with butterfly wings is depicted next to a lady sprinkling flowers. Furthermore, various musical notes are shown on this special 5 Euro coin. On the left is the year 2019. The reverse of all Austrian 5 Euro coins is the same. This copper coin is not round but is a nonagon (nine-sided) because Austria has nine Länder (provinces). The coats of arms of these provinces are shown on the reverse of the coin. Centred on the coin is the value indication of 5 Euro.
