2022 Belgium 12.5 Euro coin 'Royal Greenhouses of Laeken'. The Royal Greenhouses of Belgium were built from 1874 and expanded over 30 years to 36 pavilions of glass and green-painted iron, with a total surface area of around 2.5 hectares. The largest conservatory (a dome-shaped greenhouse) has a diameter of 57 metres and is almost 25 metres high! Important events are still often held in these beautiful pavilions. On the face of the coin is an image of the large dome-shaped conservatory encircled by the text 'Royal Greenhouses of Laeken' (in both French and Dutch). On the reverse of the coin is a portrait of King Philippe together with the value indication of 12.5 Euro. The country name of Belgium is displayed in its three official languages i.e. België - Belgique - Belgien (French, Dutch and German). The coin is presented in a beautiful case and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
