Belgium 2.5 Euro 2019 Tour de France Dutch Coincard

The Tour de France is a cycling race that lasts several weeks and is well known to most people. What a lot of people don't often know is that the Tour de France sometimes starts in other countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium and even the UK! The 106th edition of the Tour de France will start in Brussels on July 6, 2019 and will end on July 28, 2019 in Rambouillet, Paris. The leader of the classification wears the prestigious yellow jersey. This yellow sweater was designed in 1919 by Henri Desgrange, the founder of the Tour de France. So it is exactly 100 years ago that this yellow sweater was introduced. Due to the start in Brussels and the 100-year anniversary of the yellow jersey, Belgium has decided to issue a special 2.5 Euro Tour de France coin. On the face of the coin the Tour de France logo is depicted. Furthermore, there is an image of the yellow sweater superimposed with the text '100 years / ans'. In a semi-circle to the left is the text 'Grand Depart 2019 Brussels / Bruxelles'. The reverse of the coin shows the country name of Belgium in its three national languages - Belgien, Belgique and Belgie (German, French and Dutch) together with the value indication of 2.5 Euro. The mint marks of Belgium and the map of Europe are also shown. The coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard. The Dutch version of the Coincard can be recognized by the fact that the text that is displayed in both Dutch and English on the front of the coincard, with French and German text on the back.
