Andorra 2 Euro 2017 100 years National Anthem Coloured

This is the special coloured 2 Euro coin from Andorra 2017 which has the National Anthem of Andorra as its theme. Andorra's national anthem was written in 1914 and was named the Andorra National Anthem by the Andorra National Assembly on 2 April 1917. It has been in use since September 8, 1921. The date 8 September is also the National Holiday of Andorra. The national anthem of Andorra is called æEl Gran CarlemanyÆ (the Great Charlemagne) and is a bit like the French national anthem. The text refers to important aspects of Andorran culture and history. In the centre of the coin on a white background are the first notes of the national anthem coloured black. To the left and right of the notes are decorations in a golden floral style. In this decoration the word Himme is shown on the left and the word Andorra on the right (together these words mean æAndorra National AnthemÆ). At the top of the coin is the Red coloured year 2017 with the Blue and Yellow coloured text "100 Anys de l 'Himme d'Andorra" (100 years National anthem of Andorra). Together these colours form the National Colours of Andorra. The coin is packaged in a plastic coin capsule.
