Product Description

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations on 10th December, 1948. This declaration is still of great service to this day especially for basic human rights. The UDHR is used as a charter for many new international treaties and is, among other things, incorporated into the constitutions of various countries. The UDHR also serves as the basis for many organizations such as Amnesty International. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by Andorra 70 years ago. The UDHR has been integrated into Article 5 of the Andorra Constitution. This attractively coloured 2 Euro coin represents human rights well. On the face of the coin a tree is depicted in a modern and artistic way. The branches are in the form of blocks and the tree has 30 leaves. In the trunk of the tree is the country name Andorra with the year 2018 next to it. The coloured coin is packed in a coin capsule.
