The Marigold originates from Asia and Southern Europe. The somewhat stubby leaves give the plant a graceful appearance. In addition to being a graceful plant the Marigold is also a medicinal plant! Thanks to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effect, the plant is often seen as the wound healer.
