Austria 20 Euro 2022 'Elephant'. This is the fourth coin in a series of five different coins with the theme 'Eyes of the Continents'. Since ancient times, people in Africa have worshiped elephants for their size, strength and the soothing calm they exude. The African Elephant can weigh more than 6,000 kilograms and reach a height of no less than 3.2 metres. Elephants are known for their long trunk, large ears and immense tusks. They live in groups where the males (bulls) and females (cows) live in separate groups. Elephants are known for their intelligence and can live to be over 70 years old. On the face of the coin an elephant's head is depicted with sapphire blue Swarovski crystals as its eyes. On the reverse of the coin is an Elephant with the Savannah in the background. Furthermore, the country name 'Republik Österreich' is shown along with the value indication of 20 Euro. The coin is presented in a beautiful case and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
