Austria BU 2021

The theme of the 2021 BU set of Austria is 'The First Viennese Mint Master'. The first documented Viennese mint master of Austria was Mr. Schlom. Relatively little information is known about Mr. Schlom, other than that he was a Jewish man, who was the first documented Jewish resident of Vienna. Duke Leopold V appointed Mr. Schlom as the first mint master in 1194. More information about this mint master is posted on the inside of this 2021 BU set. The complete set of 2021 Euro coins from Austria, i.e. the 1 cent coin up to and including the normal 2 Euro coin, is packaged in this BU set. The quality of the coins is 'Handgehoben', which means that the coins in this set are packed by hand with the greatest care.
