Belgium 2,5 Euro 2021 Beer Culture Coincard Dutch. In 2021 Belgium has issued a 2.5 Euro coin with the theme 'Beer Culture'. Belgium is known for the quality beers that it produces, which are enjoyed all over the world. A number of well-known Belgian beers are 'Palm', 'Affligem', 'La Chouffe' and 'Pauwel Kwak', the latter beer is drunk from its own special glass which needs to be placed in a wooden holder as the glass has a rounded bottom. In total Belgium has no fewer than 1,300 different types of beer that are lovingly brewed in both large breweries and very small breweries. Five years ago UNESCO even put Belgian Beer Culture on the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Belgian beer types could hardly receive a greater honour. On the face of the coin a number of typical beer glasses are depicted with the texts 'Belgian Beer Culture' and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' on the left side. The map of Belgium is also shown. On the reverse of the coin is an image of the map of Europe. The country name, Belgium, is shown in a circle in its three national languages 'BELGIE - BELGIQUE - BELGIEN' (Dutch, French and German). The value indication of 2.50 Euro and the year of issue 2021 are also displayed. The coin is mo unted in a beautiful Coincard, whereby the Dutch version of the coincard can be recognized by the fact that the text that appears on the front is in both Dutch and English languages. This Golden Yellow Coincard is finished with a beautiful white foam head, representative of a glass of beer!
