Belgium 2.5 Euro 2022 '100 Years of Bird Protection' Coincard - Dutch. Vogelbescherming (Bird Protection) Belgium is a nature conservation organization that is committed to the birds and their associated habitats. In 1922 it was decided to protect a number of birds because they were almost non-existent in Belgium. This created bird protection in Belgium, so that many birds are now protected and can no longer be caught and eaten. The face of the coin shows a robin sitting on a branch.
